a lot of people ask us questions about our new record coming out, so here are some answers:
1) What's the new record called?
Alphabet. Alphabets.
2) What label is it on?
The Death Scene Recording Company, distributed through Equal Vision/Red Music.
3) When does it come out?
IT WILL BE IN STORES IN THE U.S. AND CANADA JUNE 13th.
4) How much will it cost?
Depends where you get it. Anywhere from $8 to $14.99 is a good guess.
5) Can i preorder the record so it comes to me before the release date?
Yes. Smartpunk.com, interpunk.com, thedeathscene.com, amazon.com, etc etc etc. Depending on where you order it from, you can get an autographed poster if you are one of the first 300 to preorder. If you order from thedeathscene.com, you are automatically entered into a contest to win a Trophy Scars/Waffo skateboard deck! The CD should make it there before the release date, and if it doesn't, someone is ****ing up at whatever site you ordered it from so don't complain to us!
6) Will Best Buy or FYE have it?
Maybe, depends where you live and how many copies get sent where. Your best bet are stores that sell mostly or only records.
7) Why can't I get the record directly from you? I want to support you directly.
You will be able to in early June from our brand new store going up on MerchNow.com. And of course, we will have the record at all shows as of June 16th (record release show in Randolph, NJ)
8) Can I download the record?
You can get it from itunes, downloadpunk.com, napster, rhapsody, etc etc.
9) Can I have the lyrics to (insert song name here)?
No, get your ass off the computer and BUY the CD. The lyrics are all in there and the photography by Mark Iantosca is amazing :)
10) Can you make (insert song name here) downloadable for free?
No, see above.
11) How many songs are on the record?
16 tracks on that bitch, son.
12) Will you be doing a video?
Yes, we are shooting one for "Assistant. Assistants." and it will probably never be on TV since we're too DIY and pretentious for that.
13) When are you going to come to my town?
Check our tourdates, we are doing a full US tour June/July. If we aren't booked in your town by now, book us a show there with your friends and some local bands since it's probably the only way we can make it because the promoters and venues suck in your town and won't do a show there for us.
14) What are the new songs like?
Like a ****ing sonic boom.
