Managing arthritis with Ayurveda

When pain in the legs and joints become unbearable it is the bodys signal showing that arthritis therapy must be done quickly or else on aggravation the condition will be irreparable. An arthritis patient will find it difficult to stand for longer hours and working by exerting pressure to the joints and it is possible that the pain will return even after adequate rest is taken. The symptoms associated with arthritis vary from person to person and so does the triggering factors. Sometimes excessive stress or office tension is enough to trigger the pain and arthritis associated discomforts. An imbalance created in the body with accumulated partially digested foods and this combined with the internal gas is considered to be the reason behind this condition as per ayurvedic principles. In earlier times, arthritis was associated with the elderly people but off late this condition is prevalent in people from all age groups. It is best to avoid canned foods and foods with preservatives and chemical additives as this will alter the digestive system and may trigger the symptoms. Ayurveda suggests a tailored treatment plan as each individual varies on his physical constitution and digestive capabilities. Likewise there are some foods like fruits, cooked vegetables, fresh juices, milk with fennel, salad are all considered to be included in the diet. Some oils like castor oil is effective in cleansing the body and must be taken as advised. Depending upon the health of the patient fasting is beneficial to digest the ama and this will eventually aid in the digestion process.

I also faced this phase when it was unbearable for me to move in pain. I went to Mississauga chiropractor for consultation and loved the way they told me benefits of chiropractic treatments. Now I can move anywhere without any support just after few sittings.
