-and the juliana theory broke up too. I don't really like anything past their first two albums, but I note their break up because they were an inspiration to me years ago, way back when.

Yeah, sorry, but they are done. check their website. www.finchmusic.com Apparently they have been very dissent and unenthusiastic at their last couple of shows and now I guess they finally descided it was time. I'm glad they released a new album before they went down though. And Say Hello To Sunshine is definatly better than What It Is to Burn. (I love wiitb, it was my first crush. but shtss is less poppy, with better musicianship, and better from a lyrical standpoint )

no, they were thinking about calling it quits a while ago, but then they descided to stay around. they weren't too happy with War All The Time so they were gonna give in...but they resolved to do another album and if they hate what the get, then they'll quit. they just finished recording the new one a couple weeks ago and they love it. So more Thursday for us!

And I have some Thursday demos that they made for this cd, if anyone wants them. I was going to put up my AIM screenname, but I figured I'll make you earn it by searching for how to contact me. (It's not that difficult, don't worry)

Yeah I saw it for myself not too long ago. Oddly I'm not that heartbroken. WIITB is the album I stand in favor of however. Yes SHTS is very much improved than their last album in terms of sound, lyrical content, etc. But I thought the old Finch album had a simpler yet interesting charm and musical chemistry that I grew to really like over time. I dunno, my own bias considering I heard that album first. I liked the new one though.
PS I'm afraid to ask but is Glassjaw together or are they done too? Daryl Palumbo seems pretty dead set on Head Automatica right now, and like next to NOTHING has been said about a new GJ record coming out any time soon.
