And today I was listening to Trophy Scars after a while, and well,
Alligator, Alligators was my first favorite all time song!
And I just remembered that, and it was very upsetting to realize that I didn't listen to Trophy Scars much anymore!
So I started listening to them late 2008, when I was 13!
Now I'm 15, and so happy with all of this music, it gives me goosebumps! <3
I don't know how active this forum is anymore, but I ended up coming here reading the post on Darkness, Oh Hell
and I'm so excited!
More on myself: I'm an artist, love all sorts of art, anything. And obviously I'm a teenager, but I'm not going to say I'm all cool and ****, 'cus I'm not. I'm just a 15 year old who appreciates Art, loves all sorts of music, and does whatever makes her happy.
Metal kettle unsettling treble howl, settler trembling, measureing mellow on the levitate off the mezzanine. Never seen a ton of bricks dressing clean/dapper 'til it's pin stripe and skull chunk 40 stories after.
It was (I guess it still is.) my boyfriend and I's "song." I feel a little weird saying that, just because it's another one of those songs that seem so personal to Jerry. Regardless, it's very sweet and probably one of the best songs Trophy Scars can use to lure in a lovestruck girl like myself at that time. I'll admit, he had been trying to get me into TS for quite a while and I just couldn't will myself to listen to an album for more than 30 seconds. One day, (like... almost three years ago, now...?) he sent me Alligators and I was hooked. I listened to it for hours on end. We weren't even dating at that point, but the song just kinda stuck with us. I'm pretty sure that's when I was completely wooed by him. He was totally awkward and quiet, so it felt like sending me that song was a drastic attempt at trying to tell me he liked me or something. I thought it was adorable.
Later, at the point of the completely lovesick honeymoon phase of our relationship, we decided that we just haaaad to have a song. It was a toss up between Mario Kart Love Song and Alligators. We're dweebs.
Alligators was actually very appropriate... Sort of. You know what I mean. It grew with us? Haha. I don't know. I'm totally sappy.
I don't even know why I just wrote all of that. It just HAPPENED.
