Jerry have you read it, and did it inspire bad luck? Specifically Anna Lucia, and Bad Dreams? If not I highly recommend it, I feel like there's similar themes, and the main character is Lucy/Lucia who is awoken having nightmares and says something like "it was just a bad dream". Just reading it in one of my classes this semester and thought it was weird.
Oh and also there's one chapter that's like Lucy as a Piece of Art and one that's like Cecil as a Humorist, which reminded me of cats as a measure of time.
