That's a lie, it was yesterday morning actually. I go to school thinking it's any other normal day wearing my save scars tee, of course. I walk in and what do I see? This kid(mind you, not just any kid - but I'll get into that later on), wearing a tscars shirt. At first I didn't believe, maybe I was imagining it? Intently I stared and honestly doubted it was really happening. The same instant I discovered, I wasn't imagining it at all. (It was the Octopus one, which I happen to own as well). But the fact that he had the shirt wasn't the thing that bothered me, I think, it was the person wearing it. I'll give you some history, one, I don't like this kid. He belongs to the crowd where they have the 'my scene is greater than thou' attitude. Two, all of those people are douchebags, in my opinion. Anyone who wants to label themselves(even if they don't say it aloud) I have lost all respect for. You roll with only kids that dress a certain way, act a certain way, etc. Three, HOW?!!?! Not only does he find about this band, which isn't the significant 'how' question. BUT, HOW does he appreciate any of this music? They're the kids who wear 'The Black Dahlia Murder' shirts, 'Chiodos', so on and so forth. I do not really enjoy music that growls(though, I used to), we can argue what musical talent those bands have and the people who listens to them individual appreciation for an artist's effort. From all this, I cannot conclude that any of these people do, though I'm sure SOME do. This incident has made me want to break some teeth. It's not that other people are discovering you and so on. I think that it's heart wrenching to think some of the fake kids will be running around sporting trophy scars wear at my residence/township.
The thing that I think that might be bothering me the most is how you guys have been so life changing over the years, and how a kid so devoted to belonging in a scene can represent anything you guys say by wearing that shirt? I mean that is the point of shirts, I think, since you guys are a band. Not only do you enjoy the music, I'd like to think you'd represent some of the band's ideals, opinions,(etc.) which is conveyed through your music. I mean you do like them enough to spend your hard-earned money on them, and let everyone know, saying they look at your chest. Maybe if he bought some of your music I would less mind that, because I really doubt what I just said is what he means when he wears that shirt. It's not as if he's a totally fake person, I know some of the kids in the same crowd are, maybe I need to be a little less judgemental myself(it's just so hard). Trifle, trifle, trifle. Be less judgemental, prejudice BLAH BLAH BLAH. God I wanna punch someone.
You guys will always be the music that means something to me.
bombard the kid with random questions about the band. then if he cant answer them rip the shirt off his chest. Then throw Panic at the Disco and Fallout boy **** at him.

And I don't know how you can say that, music is something very special to me. Not saying that it isn't to you. Just that this whole thing is very upsetting. icecream

this reminds me of a friend of mine who went to California and was sitting in a Starbucks and saw some 15 year old wearing a Death Cab For Cutie tshirt. Styrofoam Plates came on the radio and the child wearing the Death Cab shirt goes "what in the hell is this crappy music?"
