We've been so overwhelmed lately with writing and making sure NBND came out as quickly as possible that I forgot to hit up this board with info. It's been way easier getting in touch with people on a 1 to 1 basis on Facebook, honestly, I was hoping that most of you would show up there.
NBND comes out tomorrow - or in a couple of hours for some people, some people in different countries I'm sure already have it. It was a blast to record and it came out fantastic. John did a wonderful job producing it and Chris killed it again in the mixing phase. I think it's my favorite piece we've put out so far actually. It's the most magical and spiritual release in our collection and I think that adds a lot to its allure. I hope you all tryuly enjoy it as much as we all as a band do.
Vinyls should be coming soon (Alphabets will be first)... so should the live/studio documentary DVD (October probably) and then another split 7" (maybe with This Will Destroy You). There will be an Acoustic EP now for sure but it will only see a digital release. That will be out in December or sooner. The thing we're mostly excited about is the upcoming full-length that will be more like a musical than our more "traditional" releases. It will be pretty long too - like a 2CD set long... if anyone knows what that is haha.
Facebook is where we all spend most of our time communicating with our friends and fans now. It's just a simpler interface and allows us to do it instantaneously from our phones, etc. I moved to California to be with the palm trees so we will not be playing shows too frequently but because of all of your help we are able to continue to make music. If anything, California serves as a new muse and a beautiful source of inspiration.
Thank you all. I hope all is well and continues to be well.
-Jerry
