Recently seen: Black Snake Moan; Idocracy; Tideland
So, the question: "Why does Christina Ricci look hot in this movie. She was chubby in Buffalo 66." My answer: "She has bangs now, so her forehead doesn't distract you from the rest of her."
Idocracy made my life. It's funny, but also appalling in it's social commentary. The more I think about it, the better it is and the more each part makes sense. I can bring it up in conversations against consumerism, yet I can also mention it in Economics as a reason to invest in the futures of our children. Owen > Luke Wilson. He doesn't look as ****ed up.
My God. Jodelle Ferland takes my breath away. I can't wait until she grows up and tells LiLo to eat her heart out. It's amazing that a nine(ish) year old girl can carry a movie. She's going to be so gorgeous...
I tried to watch an Aussie film called Somersault, but it was bland...

i saw 300 yesterday i liked it. but we missed the first 10-15-20 minutes of it because we wanted to see the four oclock show but they sent us to the 330 one
i feel like the only reason the movie was so popular was because of myspace. a lot of people that wouldnt normally go see a warish movie like that (that i know at least went and saw it) my moneys on the reason being

i want to see disturbia as well. it looks pretty sweet. a lot of people have been saying they want to see vacancy but i've yet to see a preview for it on tv =[

I watched Dead Man's Shoes an age ago. Starring the scary Paddy considine.
It's a revenge movie about a guy cleaning up the town he came from. A group of small time drug dealers/users bullied his brother and ruined his life. The kid had learning difficulties. He kills each member of the gang in turn. Cranking up the tension until the climax at the end where the whole story comes out.
I was going to watch GSH this weekend, but my friend's b1tch girlfriend was like "I don't want to watch something gorey" and we had to explain to her the meaning of gore... anyway, she's like "no I want to watch something funny."
Oh well, we sort of listened to her and watched Hebrew Hammer... but I think the movie went over her head.

oh and i saw disturbia. it was pretty intense i dont like scary movies though so it probably wasnt that bad. but it was pg13 and we went on opening night (it just so happend that we went the night it came out) so id have to say that 87 percent of the people in the theatre werent in high school yet. so we had to deal with ****ing giggling little girls the entire time and cell phones. i almost ripped off my nuts
